Two buses have been purchased by our missionary team in Haiti and are RIGHT NOW rescuing fleets of orphaned children in Haiti and transporting them to safety. As the people of this devastated nation continue to look for help anywhere they can find it – the threats of disease and violence continue to grow and stare them in the face. Its so important to remove these children from this environment – and now we have the tools to do so. 2 buses is hardly enough, but it is swiftly bringing those who are in harms way into the arms of peace, safety, and medical aid. It takes about 8-10 hours roundtrip to bring these little ones to their destination of safety and both time and FUEL are of the essence.

Our team on location is having to refuel every few hours. When you give you are putting gas directly into the tanks of these life-saving vessels.

$50 fills one bus tank permitting 75-100 children to be transported out of ground zero.

All money is wired directly to our missionary team in Port Au Prince, Haiti within a few hours!

1. Safety

Pray for the safety of all those present on the island. Pray against diseases like cholera which might happen with breakdown of infrastructure. Pray against further injuries from aftershocks and collapse of buildings. Pray for the safety of aid workers moving among collapsed buildings. Pray for the safety of those traveling to Haiti to assist. Pray against violence and looting.

Ps 91:10-12
“No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.”

2.Comfort
Pray for the comfort of those bereaved through loss of family members or friends. Pray for the grief-stricken who have witnessed terrible tragedy. Pray for those traumatized whose souls are severely wounded.

2 Cor 1:3-4
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.”

3. Reuniting Of Families
Pray that all those still trapped would be found, liberated, and healed. Pray that family members separated from one another might be re-united. Pray that they would hear good news of each other’s health and safety. Pray that communications infrastructure be restored so that families can communicate until re-united.

Mal 4:6
“And he will gather the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers…”

4. Leadership/Relief Efforts
Pray that worldwide and local leadership of relief efforts be strong and swift, that God would raise up leaders at every level. Pray for the church to rise up strong and demonstrate the true love and compassion of Jesus Christ. Pray that generosity toward Haiti in money, goods, and services would arise all over the world. Pray for all needed supplies to flow toward Haiti swiftly and efficiently. Pray for transportation infrastructure to be rebuilt quickly, such as ports, airports, and roads. Pray for all infrastructure to be rebuilt quickly, especially potable water, healthcare, and communications.

2 Sam 10:12
“Be strong! Let’s prove ourselves strong for our people and for the cities of our God, and the Lord will do what he considers right. (God’s Word Version)”

2 Cor 8:14-15
“Your abundance at the present time should supply their want, so that their abundance may supply your want, that there may be equality. As it is written, “He who gathered much had nothing over, and he who gathered little had no lack.”

5. Revival/Rebuilding
Pray that Christians would have wisdom not to speak judgment. Pray that the witness, compassion, power, and servanthood of the Church be strong and persevering. Pray that the hearts of the Haitians would turn to the Lord Jesus as never before. Pray that investment would come in to rebuild Haiti into a modern, prosperous nation with a heart toward Jesus. Pray that what the devil meant for evil, God will turn into Victory and Revival.

Ezek 36:33-36
“Thus says the Lord God: On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be rebuilt. And they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are now inhabited and fortified. ‘Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I, the Lord, have rebuilt the ruined places, and replanted that which was desolate; I, the Lord, have spoken, and I will do it.”

The Munsey Family and Family Christian Center began today by wiring $10,000.00, raised the evening before in our midweek evening service, to our church missionary on location in Port Au Prince, Haiti. The numbers being aided through our support have multiplied exponentially to thousands upon thousands. Even still, there is MUCH to be done. Tony McCreary (on location) tells us that there is still no sign of help from the outside world and bodies continue to pile while cries grow louder and louder for missing loved ones. The streets have become living rooms, the streams have become blood red reminders of lost loved ones, and the garbage troths have become cribs for Haitian infants.

As giving continues, FCC will be making financial transfers, in hopes to encourage and equip our team on site. Your giving makes the world of difference. Pastor Steve has made it his mission to get churches on board with sending financial aid to Haiti. This Friday he Twittered, “This is not about promoting your ministry. Or who gets the credit. Or how much money you can raise on your TV show. Wash some feet…”

Giving is now available online through our blog page, as well as our church website.

All money is being directly transferred to Tony and his Team.

Just moments away from Port Au Prince, FCC Missionary, Tony McCreary and his team were diligently carrying the work of a daily third world country mission group. As the earth began to tremble so their hearts began to break witnessing the seemingly instant devastation. Based approximately 20 miles outside of Port Au Prince, Haiti – McCreary resides and bases the bulk of his outreach in the Dominican Republic.

Meanwhile in the states, Pastor Steve & Melodye Munsey, Senior Pastor of Family Christian Center, began rallying supplies and financial support to put in the hands of our on site heroes. Finally the time came Wednesday afternoon where McCreary and Munsey came voice to voice via telephone. Tears and sorrow could not express the reality that was all around one of our very own. Still, through rubble and mud, Pastor Steve and Tony were determined to do what they could.

About 4 hours after the earth’s attack, McCreary & team had transported supplies from the Dominican Republic to Haiti (4 hr drive) having erected a mobile tent station, above which hangs a paper sign reading “Family Christian Center” providing water and sandwiches to hundreds. Through the sleepless nights and many trips to and from the base camp, Tony continues to open his arms and supplies to any and all. Early Thursday marked the beginning of medical and extended relief. Food, Bibles, Prayer, Medicine, Blankets, and water.. all basics and necessities – but none of which can heal the hundreds of thousands of hearts which have been broken there. Tony tells us that as of this Sunday, there still has yet to be sight of any help from the outside world. A lone ranger, it seems, but a hero to many – McCreary drives to and fro gathering supplies purchased outside of PAP with the financial aid of Family Christian Center bringing back life’s simple rights to the hurting people of Haiti. Tony also tells us that many groups that have shown up are experiencing resistance from Haitian officials and government, yet he continues to come and go with what he is calling “supernatural favor”. New Widows, lost children, witchdoctors, and amputees are just a few of those flooding the all new Haitian Family Christian Center. In a land where voodoo is the national religion, and many do not know the name of Jesus – The Munsey Family, Family Christian Center and Tony are hoping that hope would indeed RISE. Our prayers and relief efforts continue without delay or hesitancy for Tony, and for the nation of Haiti.
